Rah Ahan edged past Persepolis 1-0 at Azadi stadium in Tehran on Sunday.
Striker Alireza Azimi scored the solo of the encounter for Rah Ahan in the 58th minute.
In other matches of the day, Foulad trounced Gahar 4-1, Naft Tehran edged past Fajr Sepasi 2-1, and the match between Aluminum and Zob Ahan was played out to a scoreless draw.
In other matches of the 29th week, on Friday, Esteghlal beat Teraktorsazi 1-0, Saipa drew with Malavan 2-2 Sepahan blanked Saba 2-0, Damash pummeled Naft Abadan 3-1, and Mes drew with Peikan 0-0.
Esteghlal is currently on top of the IPL table with 59 points, and is followed with Sepahan with 59 points, and Teraktorsazi with 55 points.
