Reza Torabian appointed Persepolis assistant coach

Tehran Times – TEHRAN, Reza Torabian has been named as the assistant coach of the Persepolis football team on Tuesday.

With just four weeks remaining of the Iranian Professional League, the ex-Persepolis defender has been named as the assistant of Yahya Golmohammadi in the Tehran-based team.

“I want to help Persepolis to win Iran’s Hazfi Cup semi-final match against Damash. That’s why I am here. I think our team has potential to win Hazfi Cup,” Torabian said.

Torabian, 43, has played for Persepolis in the 1995-96.
