Braunschweig promoted to German Bundesliga

Loading...Persianfootball.com – BRAUNSCHWEIG, Eintracht Braunschweig will play in German Bundesliga next season. The long foreseen promotion was completed on Friday with a last-minute 1-0 win over Ingolstadt.
Iranian goalkeeper Daniel Davari, who had been number one for most of the past two seasons, lost his spot to veteran keeper Petkovic three weeks ago immediately after joining the Iranian national team.
If coach Torsten Lieberknecht will give some more playing time to Davari in the remaining matches, in which the results do not matter anymore, in order to support the 24-year-old in the attempt to become Iran’s number one keeper remains questionable.
In the past, reserve keeper Petkovic was granted playing time in German Cup with number one Davari being benched in those matches.
