Esteghlal must focus on Buriram in ACL

Tehran Times – TEHRAN, Esteghlal coach Amir Ghalenoei said that they must focus on beating Buriram in the AFC Champions League quarter-finals.

The Iranian giant will face Buriram United in Tehran’s Azadi Stadium on Wednesday.

“After defeating Damash in the domestic league, we are concentrating on beating Buriram. I have good knowledge of the team. They are taking advantage of seven foreign players. Buriram is a dangerous team but we are too,” Ghalenoei said on Friday.

“Without a doubt, we will do our best against Buriram. Esteghlal will also be supported by his fans in the home match,” he added.

The second leg will be held on September 18 in Bangkok.
