Persianfootball.com – TEHRAN, Iranian youngsters Hossein Kanaani and Afshin Esmaeilzadeh joined Portuguese second league outfits Beira Mar on a one-season loan deal from Persepolis on Sunday.

The deal is part of a cooperation agreement between Persepolis Tehran and Beira Mar, which is owned by Iranian business man Majid Pishyar, who has already been involved in Austrian, Slovakian and Swiss clubs with mixed results.

A third youth player, Milad Kamandani, was initially set to leave for Portugal as well, but has not arrived there yet.

19-year-old center back Kanaani is a u-19 regular, but only has played a single game since being moved to Persepolis’ senior squad in 2012.

Midfielder Esmaeilzadeh (21), has played in different age groups for Iran, but hasn’t played for the u-23 team so far and only has two caps in Iran’s Persian Gulf League, one for Damash Gilan and one for Persepolis, to his name yet.

Beira Mar are 19th of 22 teams in Portugal’s Segunda Liga with three points out of five games.
