Shojaei scores on his Las Palmas debut [VIDEO]

Persianfootball.com – SABADELL, There couldn’t have been a better start to Masoud Shojaei’s spell at UD Las Palmas, as the Iranian international scored a goal and helped his new club to a 3-1 win over Sabadell in Spanish Cup on Wednesday.

Shojaei had signed with Las Palmas last week and debuted against the fellow Segunda Division side in the Cup, scoring the opening goal of the match after 14 minutes when he slid into a rebound to tap the ball in from close range.

The winger then stayed on for the full 90 minutes although running out of steam towards the end of the match after a good first half display.

It was Las Palmas’ first victory of the season after the team failed to score a win in the league in four rounds so far.
