Afazeli appointed director of Iran Olympic team

Loading...Persianfootball.com – TEHRAN, Human Afazeli was appointed as director of Iran’s u-23 team this week.
Team Omid will take part in the first ever AFC u-22 Championship in Oman from January 11 to 26 where they have been grouped with Japan, Australia and Kuwait in a ‘group of death’.
Afazeli was interim head coach of the u-23 football team for a short stint in 2010 and stepped down due to lack of support for the team after he had been assistant coach of the senior national team under Branko Ivankovic and Ali Daei.
