Loading...Persianfootball.com – LONDON, A calf injury is the latest setback for Fulham winger Ashkan Dejagah after a dismal season so far.
The rightfooter had a splendid first season for a disappointing Fulham team after joining them from Vfl Wolfsburg last summer, but after missing the end of the season due to injury Dejagah has been completely been out of coach Martin Jol’s focus, only having a Cup appearance to his name since the summer break.
Meanwhile a torn cruciate ligament could cost Sweden based youngster Omid Nazari a World Cup appearance.
The 21-year-old had established himself as fixed player at Ängelholms in Swedish second division and earned five friendly caps for Iran so far in which he had scored one goal, but the heavy injury will sideline him until next year and severely endangers the midfielder’s chances to be part of Iran’s 23-man squad for the 2014 World Cup in Brazil.
