Foolad beats Malavan to go four points clear [VIDEO]

Loading...Tehran Times – ANZALI, The Iranian Professional League (IPL) leader Foolad moved four points clear of rival Sepahan at the top of the table after winning Malavan 2-1 on Friday.
Mehdi Nouri was on target for the visiting team in the 55th minute and Luciano Pereira Mendes doubled the advantage with 10 minutes remaining.
Esmaeil Samadi pulled a goal back in the dying moments of the match.
Sepahan beat Zob Ahan in Isfahan derby thanks to Omid Ebrahimi goal in the 25th minute.
Elsewhere, Rah Ahan beat Damash 1-0, Tractor Sazi edged Naft 1-0, Mes lost to Gostaresh 2-1 and Esteghlal Sanati beat Saba 1-0.
On Thursday, Persepolis defeated Fajr Sepasi 1-0 in Tehran’s Azadi Stadium.
