Ghoochannejhad: ‘I’m delighted to have scored’

Loading...Tehran Times – LIEGE, Standard Liege striker Reza Ghoochannejhad is happy because of scoring against Waasland-Beveren but he believed their team could have won the match.
Ghoochannejhad scored his first goal in the current season in the match finished 2-2.
“We played a good football against Waasland-Beveren but we could have won the match,” Ghoochannejhad said.
“With all due respect to Waasland-Beveren, we had enough chances to win but we lost our confidence,” he added.
“For me personally it is nice to score. After four months I was allowed to play again. I’ve already played in Europe but I was not in the starting lineup in the league,” the 26-year-old Iranian international said.
