Alireza Jahanbakhsh scores a brace, assists one [VIDEO]

Persianfootball.com – NIJMEGEN, Alireza Jahanbaksh, the 20- year old Iranian international, scored a brace in his second start for N.E.C. to help give the Nijmegen-side a 3-2 victory over AZ Alkmaar.

Jahanbaksh scored with a header in the 53^rd minute to give the home side a 2-1 lead after Anton Janssen’s men offensive ascendency saw them give a lead. Jahanbaksh again scored in the 72th minute that saw N.E.C. double their league as he made a fantastic turn and volleyed it over the AZ Alkmaar goalkeepers’ outstretched hand. The recently-capped Iranian international started as a right-winger. Jahanbaksh also assisted N.E.C.’s first goal.

Jahanbaksh was N.E.C’s man of the match and helped them get only their second victory in the league. The newly-promoted N.E.C. side is currently in the relegation zone.
