Dejagah helps Fulham to crucial victory

Persianfootball.com – LONDON, Ashkan Dejagah showed another good performance and assisted the opening goal in Fulham’s 2-0 win over Aston Villa in English Premier League on Sunday.

The rightwinger, looking much improved after coach Martin Jol had been released, had already scored his team’s lone goal in last week’s 1-2 loss in another London derby versus Tottenham, set up Steve Sidwells 21st minute goal with a brilliant one touch pass which the midfielder converted from very tight angle.

Fulham remain in the relegation zone despite the win, but moved one up to 18th position and are in touching distance of a non-relegation spot.

Elsewhere, Daniel Davari and Eintracht Braunschweig suffered another loss in German Bundesliga and remain on bottom of the table.

Davari had a couple of good saves against fellow promoted Hertha Berlin, but was chanceless on two occassions in the 0-2 defeat.
