Russia interested in friendly with Iran – Official

Loading...Tehran Times – TEHRAN, Mehdi Mohammad Nabi, the general secretary of Iran Football Federation, said that the Russian football officials are interested in playing friendly with Iran.
Iran has been grouped with Argentina, Bosnia and Herzegovina and Nigeria in Group F of the 2014 World Cup.
“The head coach of Russia football team told us they are interested in playing Iran in December. We will held a meeting with the Mr. Kaffashian (head of Iran Football Federation) to talk about future projects,” Nabi said.
The Iranian football officials have already said Team Melli will likely play Algeria as part of its preparation for the 2014 World Cup in Brazil.
