Carlos Queiroz hits out at friendlies rumors

Loading...Tehran Times – TEHRAN, Iran football coach Carlos Queiroz hit back at claims that the Iranian football team will play friendlies against Spain and Russia.
The local media reported that the Iranian football team is going to play Russia and Spain as part of its preparation for the 2014 World Cup in Brazil.
“I don’t know where these rumors come from but don’t care about that. This is absolutely ridiculous. At the moment, we just have to prepare ourselves for the World Cup,” Queiroz said on Saturday.
Iran has been drawn with Argentina, Bosnia and Herzegocina and Nigeria in Group F of the 2014 World Cup.
