Carlos Queiroz linked with Man United and Tottenham – report
Tehran Times – TEHRAN, Portuguese newspaper ‘A Bola’ has claimed that Iran current coach Carlos Queiroz is being considered to take charge of Tottenham.
Spurs coach Andre Villas-Boas was sacked on Monday following poor results.
The newspaper also reported that the Portuguese coach is a candidate as replacement for David Moyes.
The Scot is under pressure to improve the team’s current league position of eighth.
Carlos Queiroz was also a candidate for West Brom Albion job after the premiere league club sacked Steve Clark on Saturday, the British sport website sportsdirect.com reported.
This is not the first time that Queiroz is being mentioned as a candidate for a job in England.
Queiroz, who has guided Iran to next summer’s World Cup, is concentrating on the team’s preparation for the prestigious event.
Iran has been drawn along with Argentina, Bosnia and Herzegovina and Nigeria in the 2014 World Cup.
