Esteghlal of Tehran the new leader of the Persian Gulf league

Persianfootball.com – TEHRAN, On the final day of week 21 of the Persian Gulf League, Esteghlal of Tehran defeated Rah Ahan 1-0 in Takhti stadium to top Iran’s professional league.

In the first half, both sides had their chances yet none of the two clubs were able to score and the game ended 0-0.

In Minute 66 of the second half, a beautiful delivery by Beikzadeh from the right wing was booted in Rah Ahan goal by striker Nazari.

Despite attempts by Rah Ahan to stop Esteghlal no more goals occured and the game ended 1-0, which was enough to make Esteghlal the new leader of the Persian Gulf League.
