Persepolis loses to Gostaresh Foolad in IPL

Tehran Times – TEHRAN, Gostaresh Foolad of Tabriz edged Persepolis football team in the Iranian Professional League (IPL) on Tuesday.

Mehrdad Bayrami scored the only goal of the match in the 57th minute.

Persepolis coach Ali Daei didn’t attend the post match news conference.

Elsewhere, Foolad defeated struggling Mes 1-0 in Ahvaz and moved to top of table. Ayoub Vali scored the goal two minutes into the second half.

Naft defeated Saipa 2-1 and this victory will help them in the title race.

Ali Ghorbani gave a lead to Naft in the 11th minute but his goal was cancelled out by Mehdi Jafarpour in the 58th minute. In the 70th minute, Hadi Norouzi scored the winning goal for Naft.
