Alireza Haghighi to join Sporting Covilha – report

Loading...Tehran Times – COVILHA, Former Persepolis goalkeeper Alireza Haghighi is on the verge of joining Sporting Covilha, according to the Portuguese media.
Haghighi, 25, took part in the second division’s training on Friday, Expresso and Record reported.
He is going to play regular games for a club ahead of the 2014 World Cup this summer in Brazil.
Haghighi has made five caps for the Iranian football team.
He joined Rubin Kazan in 2011 but failed to make an appearance in the Russian club.
Haghighi will try to convince Covilha coach Francisco Chalo to sign him.
