Sepahan beats Zob Ahan in Isfahan derby

Loading...Tehran Times – ESFAHAN, Sepahan football team edged Zob Ahan in Isfahan derby on Friday.
In the match held in Isfahan’s Fooladshahr Stadium, Yaghoob Karimi scored the only goal of the match in the 65th minute.
Sepahan moved up to the third place of Iran Professional League (IPL).
Elsewhere, Damash was held to a 1-1 draw by Rah Ahan in Rasht and Saba drew 1-1 with Esteghlal Sanati in its home match.
On Saturday, relegation-threatened Sepasi is scheduled to host Persepolis, Gostaresh Foolad will face Mes, Naft will host Tractor Sazi, Foolad is to play Malavan and IPL leader Esteghlal will play Saipa.
