Arash Borhani joins 100 goals club for Esteghlal

Loading...Tehran Times – TEHRAN, Arash Borhani scored his 100th goal for Esteghlal as the team secured a 2-0 win over Saipa in the Iranian Professional League.
On Sunday, Esteghlal defeated Saipa 2-0 in Tehran’s Azadi Stadium and remained on top of the table.
Borhani was on target in the 55th minute and Boubacar Kebe extended Esteghlal’s lead in the 74th minute.
Borhani, who joined Esteghlal in 2007, scored his 100th goal in 242 matches for the Tehran based team.
The 30-year- old began his professional career with Pas in 2002. The striker also scored 34 goals for Pas in 94 matches.
Borhani has played 37 matches for Iran football team and scored 10 goals.
