Foolad Khuzestan leads Persian Gulf league again

Loading...Persianfootball.com – TEHRAN, On day 1 of week 27 of Iran premier League (IPL), Naft of Tehran football team drew 1-1 with Foolad of Khuzestan football team on Sunday February 16, 2014 in Tehran.
In the first half, Arash Afshin scored for Foulad in minute 25 while Reza Norouzi scored for Naft from penalty spot in minute 45 to tie the game, ending the first half 1-1.
In the second half, none of the two clubs enabled to score and the game ended in a 1-1 tie.
The tie was enough for Foolad to take over the first place in IPL temporary with 51 points.
Esteghlal of Tehran can maintain its IPL lead by obtaining at least a tie in the second day of week 27 of the Persian Gulf League.
