Persianfootball.com – WAALWIJK, While the clubs of Ashkan Dejagah, Reza Ghoochannejhad and Sardar Azmoun had no matches this weekend, the rest of Iran’s foreign legion mostly had a successful weekend.

Alireza Jahanbakhsh played the full 90 minutes and showed a very strong performance as NEC Nijmegen scored a 3-1 away win over RKC Waalwijk and finally left the relegation zone of Dutch Eredivisie.

Jahanbakhsh was unlucky to be denied by the woodwork twice – once with a right footed effort in the opening minute of the match and once with a header to a corner kick – but overall once more impressed crowds and journalists, and also was directly involved in the creation of the third goal.

In Germany, Daniel Davari helped Eintracht Braunschweig to a 4-2 win over also relegation threatened Hamburg SV. Although not looking well on the first conceded goal, Davari was else flawless and had a matchwinning save late in second half.

Braunschweig remain on bottom of the table, but closed the gap to Hamburg to one point.

In Portugal’s second league, Alireza Haghighi played his second consecutive game for Sporting Colvilha after joining the club from Rubin Kazan, but couldn’t prevent a 1-2 loss.

In Qatar, Mojtaba Jabbari scored a stunning goal for Al Ahli in a 1-1 draw versus Qatar SC. Meanwhile Umm Salal’s amazing run with Pejman Montazeri continues as the club won yet another match and have not lost a single point since Montazeri joined in January, after only having won a single game before the Iranian international defender joined.

In the final round of AFC Champions League qualifiers Kuwait SC were eliminated after a 1-4 defeat to Qatar’s Lekhwia. Kuwait SC’s lone goal was scored by Javad Nekounam from the penalty spot. The club will now have to compete in AFC Cup.

Below comes Mojtaba Jabbari’s beautiful goal from PFDC TV.
