Queiroz and Nabi in Brazil
Tasnim – SAO PAULO, Iranian national football team’s coach, Carlos Queiroz, visited Iran’s training camp in Sao Paulo.
Iran is scheduled to hold its camp at the CT Joaquim Grava at Corinthians football club ahead of FIFA 2014 World Cup. Queiroz visited Iran’s training camp on Friday.
The Portuguese coach is also set to attend the FIFA workshop, which will be held in Florianopolis between February 19 and 20.
Iran football team is in Group F of the FIFA 2014 World Cup along with giant Argentina, Bosnia and Herzegovina and Nigeria.
The FIFA World Cup will take place from June 12 to July 13 in Brazil.
Also Mehdi Mohammad Nabi, general secretary of Iran Football Federation (IFF), left Tehran on Saturday to attend the FIFA workshop.
Nabi is going to attend the workshop to be held in Florianopolis between February 19 and 20.
Nabi was originally scheduled to travel to Spain along with Carlos Queiroz to see Iranian Rubin Kazan striker Sardar Azmoun in action against Real Betis in the Europa League.
However, they will likely return to Iran from Brazil.
