Shojaei scores important winner for Las Palmas [VIDEO]

Persianfootball.com – LAS PALMAS, Iran international Masoud Shojaei scored the winner in Las Palmas’ 2-1 victory over Girona yesterday evening in front of the home crowd.

The 29-year-old striker who was subbed in the 64th minute after a slight injury lay-off,  was served by compatriot Aranda who played a beautiful cross over the defence line of Girona only to find the Iranian completely unmarked in the penalty area.

Shojaei showed brilliant technical abilities as the Iranian national team player scored the lead for his team by a nice volley (89′).

Las Palmas is currently on 6th position with 38 points.
