Aghajanyan: “The aim of preparation matches is to understand our weak points”

Loading...ISNA – TEHRAN, Team Melli’s analyzer says that one of the reasons for the 2-1 loss against Guinea was the late arrival of their foreign based players to the training camp.
According to ISNA, Markar Aghajanyan said, “The match against Guinea was our first preparation match after many months and our aim for this match was to better understand our weak and strong points”.
He continued, “Of course we did not obtain what we hoped out of this match but the result was not important at all. The aim of preparation matches is to understand our weak points”.
Team Melli’s analyzer stating that even in preparation matches that result in a victory we can better understand our weak points, said, “One of the reasons that led to our loss against Guinea was the late arrival of our foreign based players”.
Aghajanyan pointed out, “In the second half our players became more in sync with one another and displayed a more acceptable game. Overall I was pleased with the flow of the match, that said, in my opinion we must play better than this”.
