Vital games for Iran’s representatives in ACL

Loading...Tasnim – DOHA, The Iranian football teams, Esteghlal and Foolad, will play Qatar’s Al Rayyan and Al Fateh of Saudi Arabia, respectively, in the second match-day of the 2014 AFC Champions League on Tuesday.
Esteghlal suffered a home defeat in the first match-day against Al Shabab of Saudi Arabia in Group A.
The Iranian team will play Al Rayyan in the Qatari capital, Doha, on Tuesday. Al Shabab will also play Al Jazira of the UAE in the group.
Esteghlal remains rooted to the foot of the table without any point. The Iranian outfit should not lose against its Qatari rival at least.
Al Shabab and Al Jazira are first and second with three points and Al Rayyan is third without any point.
Elsewhere, Foolad of Khuzestan will host Al Fateh of Saudi Arabia in Ahvaz in Group B of the competitions.
Hossein Faraki’s team earned a valuable goalless draw against Al Jaish of Qatar in Doha on February 25.
Bunyodkor of Uzbekistan will host Al Jaish in this group.
Foolad needs to get all three points in its home game match.
Iran’s Sepahan and Al Hilal of Saudi Arabia are among the tournament’s most experiences sides as this year’s edition marks their tenth continental appearance.
