Final day will decide Iran premier league Champion [video]

Persianfootball.com – TEHRAN. When Esteghlal of Tehran defeated Foolad of Khozestan 0-1 in Ahvaz it became clear the Persian Gulf league champion (PGL) will be decided in week 30 on its final day.

Although, Foolad had many more opportunities than Esteghlal but it was the Tehran side that won the game and change the order in top four of PGL.

It was Naft of Tehran that defeated Gostarsh 4-1 to lead PGL with 54 points and with better goal difference than that of Foolad of Khozestan which also has 54 points.

Persepolis tied 2-2 with Rah Ahan only to miss the opportunity to lead PGL with better goal difference that the rest.

After week 29 the top four in PGL standing is as follows;

1) Naft Tehran 54
2) Foolad 54
3) Esteghlal 53
4) Persepolis 52

Indicating, the PGL champion will be decided in week 30 on the final day or Iran premier league.
