The 24-year-old scored 14 goals this season, including one penaltly kick, a goal more than veteran striker Reza Enayati of Saba Qom.

The duo is followed by Mehrdad Bayrami (Gostaresh, 12 goals), Mehdi Daghaghele (Malavan, 11) and Reza Norouzi (Naft, 11).

It is Ansarifard’s second topscorer honor after 2012, when he finished on top of the chart with 21 goals – in a league of 18 teams back then in comparison to just 16 this season.

With additionally four assists to his tally, Ansarifard also collected the most scorer points in the league.

Top assister this season was Payam Sadeghian, who created eight goals besides scoring three.
