Foolad defeats El Jaish to secure spot in ACL elimination stage [video]

Persianfootball.com – Ahvaz, On match day 5 of ACL group B, Foolad Khozestan defeats El Jaish of Qatar 3-1 at Ghadir stadium Ahvaz, to secure a spot in elimination stage of ACL.

An early goal in minute 9 by Nilmar gave a 0-1 lead to El Jaish.

Foolad answered in minute 21 when Rahmani scored with a nice shot from inside the box to tied the match 1- 1.

Rezaei doubled the score in minute 45 also with a nice shot from inside the box to make it 2-1 in favor of Foolad and that was the final result after the first half.

In the second half, Foolad had several chances and it was Pereira who scored a beauty from just outside the box to put Foolad 3-1 ahead for good.

With this victory Foolad advanced to elimination stage while ACl.

In the other group B match, Bunyodkor of Uzbekistan defeated Al Fateh of KSA 3-2.

As a result, Al Fateh is eliminated while Bunyodkor and El Jaish have to wait until next week the final day of group stage of ACL.
