Loading...Tasnim – TABRIZ, Iran’s Tractor Sazi football team was defeated by Lekhwiya of Qatar in AFC Champions League group stage on Tuesday evening.
Madjid Bougherra scored for Lekhwiya from the penalty spot in the 73rd minute.
Emirati outfit Al Ain and Saudi Arabia’s Al Ittihad had advanced from Group C with 11 and 10 points respectively after a 1-1 draw.
Lekhwia finished in third place with seven points and Tractor Sazi also failed to qualify for the next stage with five points.
