Dejagah scores for struggling Fulham
Persianfootball.com – LONDON, Ashkan Dejagah came on as substitute at halftime and scored a beautiful goal, but in the end Fulham had to settle with a disappointing draw.
Following Dejagah’s early second half opener, Fulham added a second goal against Hull City, but gave away victory by conceding two late goals.
The Londoners remain second from bottom and trail 17th placed Sunderland, who have a game in hand, by one point.
Also Alireza Jahanbakhsh also came on as substitute and scored a goal in Dutch Eredivisie, but due to the deflection of the shot the goal was officially counted as an own goal.
However, the Iranian winger’s 2-5 against Twente, didn’t make a difference anyhow as NEC also remain second from bottom and only need a point on the final matchday next week to at least assure a relegation playoff spot.
Meanwhile Daniel Davari and Eintracht Braunschweig suffered another setback losing 0-2 to Hertha Berlin in German Bundesliga.
Davari had some good saves, but has to be blamed on the first conceded goal, when he failed to clear a corner kick.
Fortunately for Braunschweig, also Nuremberg and Hamburg suffered defeats and therefore direct relegation could still be avoided.
Also Masoud Shojaei and Las Palmas didn’t have anything to cheer about in Spain’s second league. The promotion hopefuls suffered a 0-2 defeat to Barcelona B and lost further ground to the direct promotion slots.
Elsewhere Rubin Kazan lost their league match without the injured Sardar Azmoun, who is supposed to return in one to two weeks.
