Iran arrive for Austrian training camp
FIFA – VIENNA, The Iranian squad has arrived in Austria for a three-week training camp ahead of their start of the matches in the 2014 FIFA World Cup in Brazil starting next month.
Carlos Queiroz’s squad will be based in Bad Waltersdorf, over 100 kilometers to the south of Vienna, until 21st of May before spending another nine days of preparation camp in the neighboring city of Stegersbach.
Iran’s Team Melli will play three friendlies against the Belarus national team on 18 May, Montenegro on 26 May and finally against Angola on 30 May before heading to Brazil.
Iran is drawn in Group F alongside Argentina, Bosnia-Herzegovina and Nigeria with their opening game against the west Africans in Curitiba on 16 June.
