Team Melli farewell ceremony [PHOTOS]

Loading...Persianfootball.com – TEHRAN, in the evening of June 2, 2014, as scheduled previously, IFF held a farewell ceremony in support of Team Melli to boost their morals before they departed to Brazil on June 3, 2014.
The ceremony took place in the 120000 sitter stadium in Azadi facilities.
Mr. Goodarzi the minister of sport expressed that people of Iran do not only expect good games and victories from their Team Melli but also expect a display of sportsmanship from the team at this great world stage. “We all pray for our Team Melli to perform well and return home with their heads high”, said the minister.
Kafashian, the IFF boss indicated: “We are proud that our Team Melli is going to the World Cup to present Iran as the agent of peace, friendship and sportsmanship in Brazil.”
Queiroz the head coach of Iran’s National football team said: “We will fight hard and leave no room for regret. We will do our best to represent Iran to the best of our ability. He also thanked the ministry of sport and all those who put their support and trust in Team Melli.”
