Team Melli Arrived in Brazil [PHOTOS]

Persianfootball.com – TEHRAN, After 19 hours of flight, Team Melli caravan arrived in Brazil in the afternoon of June 3, 2014, to start their final preparation camp in Sao Polo.

At Sao Polo Airport Team Melli caravan was welcomed by FIFA representative, the Iranian Ambassador of Brazil and a large group of various international media to cover their arrival.

Carlos Queiroz gave a short interview with the media and then Team Melli caravan went through the immigration process to complete their paper work and enter Brazil.

A Team Melli jersey that was signed by all Iranian players was given to FIFA representatives to be kept in the World Cup museum.

Iranian caravan was taken to their hotel by Team Melli bus which had “Honor of Persia” printed on the sides.

At hotel the Mayor of Sao Polo was there to welcome Team Melli players by giving the flag of Brazil to Queiroz and posed for photos.

After the dinner, Team Melli players started to watch the friendly game between Greece and Nigeria which ended 0-0.

Team Melli was among the first countries to arrive in Brazil with Australia being the first.

This upcoming Friday Team Melli will play Against Trinidad and Tobago behind closed doors according to FIFA rules.
