Carlos Queiroz: We must accept the reality and do our best

Persianfootball.com – Sao Paulo, After a hard day of Team Melli practice, Carlos Queiroz the Iran’s National football team head coach welcomed the Media and hoped they will do a good job covering Team Melli.

Carlos indicated: “We have no doubt about our player’s readiness and I know who will start exactly against Nigeria.”

He continued: “We are the talk of media because we are in the World Cup and we are ready to play against big teams. We will do our best to get results and make our fans happy and proud.”

The Portuguese expressed that everyone talks about Argentina, Nigeria and Bosnia advancing to the next round but not Iran which is to our advantage and we will wait to take advantage of their mistakes.

We know Argentinean players well as we have analyzed them but we will not make a big deal out of their names but at the same time we have to accept the reality and do our best and fight hard to prove ourselves, added the hopeful Carlos.

When a reporter asked Queiroz to wear a shirt with Nigeria’s coach photo on it like the one in S Korea, Carlos replied: “We are in a totally different atmosphere here now as we are at the world stage of the football.”

On the up coming game versus Nigeria on June 16, Team Melli head coach expressed: “We will have 90 minutes of up and down fight against Nigeria and one thing for sure is Team Melli players are willing to give %100 of hard work to get results.”

To motivate Team Melli players, Portuguese gave one tennis ball to each player with six parts, 1- you are in the World Cup, 2- be brave, 3- be responsible, 4- be focused, 5- have goals and 6- have Positive energy and attitude.
