FIFA will display Alireza Haghighi’s jersey in it’s museum
Persianfootball.com – CURITIBA, In an interview with Fars News Agency (FNA), Team Melli Keeper Alireza Haghighi told the agency that FIFA will display his jersey in FIFA’s World cup Museum.
Haghighi was chosen by Carlos Queiroz Iran’s head coach to be the Tean Melli keeper in Iran’s Group F opening match against Nigeria.
Iranian keeper told FNA that at the end of Iran – Nigeria match a FIFA agent came to him and asked for his jersey for FIFA Museum.
Haghighi who gave his jersey to FIFA, will wear a different jersey if chosen to play against Argentina.
Note that in Iran – Nigeria match Haghighi kept a clean sheet 0-0, which is Iran’s first ever clean sheet in the World Cup.
Keeping a clean sheet could be the reason for FIFA wanting to display Haghighi’s jersey in its Museum.
