Iran face already eliminated Bosnia
Persianfootball.com – SALVADOR, The Iranian football national team needs a victory against Bosnia in its final match against already eliminated Bosnia & Herzegovina and a motivated Argentinian team against Nigeria to write history on Wednesday afternoon.
With only one point after two matches against Nigeria and Argentina, Iran still have a realistic chance to survive the group stage of the World Cup. While table-toppers Argentina will play against Nigeria, Iran face Safet Susic’s Bosnia & Herzegovina.
Nigeria booked 4 points so far and just need a draw against Argentina, while Team Melli needs a victory over the Bosnian national team and an Argentinian victory against Nigeria.
Bosnia & Herzegovina suffered a 1-0 defeat against Nigeria last week and are therefore out of the tournament with two defeats against Nigeria and Argentina.
