Kafashian: Queiroz is Team Melli head coach

Persianfootball.com – TEHRAN, The Iranian Football Federation (IFF), has reached an agreement with Carlos Queiroz and as a result he will remain as Team Melli’s head coach until the World Cup 2018 which will take place in Russia.

The agreement came after almost a year of negotiations til eventually the parties agreed to the final conditions of the contract.

Reportedly, Carlos will arrive in Tehran next week to sign the contract in a ceremonial setting.

Kafashian said, “The contract is concluded and he will start his work soon”.

The Portuguese first task is to prepare Team Melli for the AFC Asian Cup that will take place in Australia on January 9th of 2015.
