Persianfootball.com – TEHRAN, Iranian midfield talent Saeid Ezzatollahi has signed a precontract with Spanish champions Atletico Madrid and will sign a 5-year-deal after undergoing medical tests in Spain’s capital.

After the 17-year-old’s current club Malavan Anzali and Atletico agreed on an undisclosed transfer fee, Ezzatollahi signed the precontract and is currently waiting for his visa to travel to Madrid and sign a one-year-contract with Atletico’s u-19 including an option for a four-year extension as professional player in the senior team.

The transfer is managed by Iranian agents Alireza Paykan and Mohsen Haghshenas of Dutch ‘Driessens Global Sports Management’. The duo is currently also representing some other young Iranian talents and are in talks with clubs from Germany, Portugal and the Netherlands.

Ezzatollahi, a tall defensive midfielder, debuted in Iran’s Pro League in 2012 and has captained Iran at the 2013 u-17 World Cup, reaching the knockout stage after draws with Argentina and Canada as well as a win over Austria.
