Iran books place in AFC U-14 Championship semis

Loading...Tasnim – HAMEDAN, Iran edged Saudi Arabia in Group A of the 2014 AFC U-14 Championship on Friday.
In the match held at the Hajbabaei Stadium in Hamedan, Mohsen Godarzi scored Iran’s only goal in the 40th minute.
The Iranian football team entered into the semi-final of the AFC U-14 Championship as the Group A runner-up, behind North Korea.
Elsewhere, North Korea and East Timor drew 2-2 at the Mofateh Stadium.
Iran and North Korea will have to wait for their opponents from Group B.
The both matches of Group B will be played on Saturday.
