Persepolis midfielder Sadeghian apologies for pushing referee
Tehran Times – TEHRAN, Persepolis midfielder Payam Sadeghiam apologized to the Persepolis fans for pushing referee in the match against Foolad.
Sadeghian was sent off in the 85th minute after protesting referee Mohammad Reza Akbarian’s decision.
Akbarian showed him a straight red card and Sadeghian pushed him.

“I apologize to the fans for pushing the referee but I didn’t say him even a bad word. I just told him we should have been awarded a free kick,” Sadeghian said.
