Japan backs Iran to host 2019 AFC Asian Cup

Loading...Tasnim – TEHRAN, Japan Football Association (JFA) president Daini Kuniya said that they will support Iran to win the right for hosting the 2019 AFC Asian Cup.
The Iranian and Japanese football federations signed an agreement as part of efforts to boost cooperation between the two Asian powers on Tuesday.
“I talked to Mr Kaffashian (head of Iran Football Federation) and we will support Iran to win the right to host the 2019 AFC Asian Cup,” Kuniya said.
“This agreement will improve the level of football at the confederation and we are together to help the Asian football,” JFA president added.
Japan Football Association is going to collaborate with the Iranian counterpart in different fields including women and professional football, he added.
