Persianfootball.com – TEHRAN, The negotiations between the Iranian Football Federation (IFF) and Carlos Queiroz have reached the final stage and should be concluded on Tuesday or Wednesday, when the contract will be ready to be signed.

IFF president Ali Kafashian called the deal “99% certain”, mentioning that the final disagreements between the two parties had concerned termination clauses in the contract which meanwhile have been solved.

Also the Portuguese, who had guided Team Melli to the 2014 World Cup in Brazil, signaled that the time for negotiations is up.

“Next time I will come to the IFF head office I will either sign or leave”, Queiroz, who is supposed to sign a contract as Iran’s national team coach until 2018, is quoted in Iranian media.

Iran should prepare for the 2015 Asian Cup which will take place in Australia in January. Iran were placed in group C with Bahrain, Qatar and the UAE.
