Queiroz out of Iran job

Loading...Persianfootball.com – TEHRAN, The Iranian Football Federation (IFF) and its president Ali Kafashian decided to stand back from a possible extension of “former” Team Melli coach Carlos Queiroz.
The Portuguese star coach basically agreed to sign a new contract although Kafashian as well as Queiroz mentioned that despite a 99% agreement, there were still some minor discrepancies to negotiate about.
Earlier, the Asian powerhouse tended to a Queiroz stay but the atmosphere suddenly splashed over to a preference of a domestic coach, a heavy backlash for Iranian football. The last domestic coach, Ali Daei initiated a catastrophic failure in the World Cup 2010 qualifiers which ensured a World Cup ticket for Asian nobody North Korea.
