Iran Football Team to Hold Camp in Portugal
Tasnim – TEHRAN, Iranian national football team will travel to Portugal on October 4 to hold a training camp in the country.
The Iranian team, who is preparing for the AFC Asian Cup in Australia in January, will play several friendly matches with Portuguese teams in the camp.
Iran is in Group C of the AFC Asian Cup along with the UAE, Bahrain and Qatar.
Mehdi Mohammad Nabi, the general secretary of Iran Football Federation (IFF), said that Team Melli will train at the Estádio da Luz during its preparatory camp.
“Iran will hold a camp in Portugal from October 4 to 10. The team will also play a friendly against South Korea in Tehran on November 18. Team Melli will also hold a 10-day training camp in South Africa from December 14,” Nabi added.
