Loading...Tasnim, TEHRAN – Persepolis football team suffered a home defeat against Saipa in the Iranian Professional League on Tuesday.
Milad Meidavoudi scored the only goal of the match in the 62nd minute.
“We created several chances but our strikers didn’t take advantage of their chances. Saipa had just two opportunities and scored one goal,” Persepolis coach Hamid Derakhshan said.
Elsewhere, Saba defeated Gostaresh Foolad thanks to a Alimohammadi’s 65th minute goal.
Esteghlal Khuzestan and Naft Masjed Soleyman played out a goalless draw.
