Iran plan Zimbabwe friendly
Persianfootball.com – JOHANNESBURG, Iran and Zimbabwe have reached a preliminary agreement for a friendly match in Johannesburg on December 19.
Although a final agreement has not been reached yet, Iran could meet the Africans during their training camp in South Africa in December.
Also still on the cards is a friendly against the South African national team.
However, so far only a friendly versus South Korea in Tehran on November 18 has been finalized while friendly matches versus Iraq and Palestine could be possible too.
A friendly match versus Sweden in March 2015 is a post Asian Cup option for Carlos Queiroz’s men, according to various reports.
Iran are preparing for the 2015 Asian Cup in Australia, where Team Melli will face Bahrain, Qatar and the UAE in group stage in January.
