Tasnim, TEHRAN – Former Montenegro coach Zlatko Kranjcar is among the candidates shortlisted by the Iran Football Federation (IFF) for the Olympic coaching position.

The Iranian federation is going to terminate the contract with Portuguese coach Nelo Vingada.

Under tutelage of Vingada, the Iranian Olympic football team suffered an early exit from the 2014 Asian Games in Incheon, South Korea.

Iran’s Olympic team manager said that they will most likely part company with Vingada.

“IFF is not going to continue with Vingada. We’ve negotiated with several coaches. Zlatko Kranjcar is also among the candidates,” Habib Kashani said.
