Tractor Sazi, Esteghlal share points in Iran Professional League

Loading...Tasnim – TABRIZ, Esteghlal of Tehran football team managed to draw 2-2 at Tabriz against Tractor Sazi in the Iran Professional League(IPL) on Friday.
Arash Borhani put the visiting team ahead in the 67th minute.
Shahin Saghebi equalized the match in the 75th minute and with four minutes remaining, Brazilian striker Edinho scored for Tractor Sazi.
Esteghlal defender Amir Hossein Sadeghi scored five minutes into stoppage time.
“Esteghlal players Karrar Jassim and Khosro Heydari should have been shown the red cards. I think Alireza Faghani (referee) didn’t send them since Esteghlal will have to play Persepolis in its next match in Tehran derby,” Tractor Sazi coach Rasoul Khatibi said in the post match news conference.
Elsewhere, Foolad of Khuzestan was held to a goalless draw against Padideh of Mashhad, Malavan of Bandar Anzali suffered a 3-1 home defeat against Zob Ahan, Esteghlal Khuzestan defeated Saipa 2-0 and Saba lost to Naft 2-1.
