Zlatko Kranjcar takes charge of Iran Olympic football team
Tehran Times – TEHRAN, Zlatko Kranjcar has been named as the new head coach of Iran Olympic football team on Wednesday.
The 58-year-old Croat replaced Nelo Vingada at the helm.
The Iranian Football Federation (IFF) parted company with Nelo Vingada as Iran Olympic head coach in early September.
The Portuguese coach dismissed from his post following the poor results in the 2014 Asian Games in Incheon, South Korea.
Kranjcar has already worked in Iranian giants Persepolis and Sepahan football teams.
He has been appointed as the new head coach of Iran Olympic team to help the team qualify for the 2016 Olympic Games in Rio.
